M&P® 2.0 Rapid Assist Device The M&P® 2.0 Device is a reset style component designed specifically for the Smith & Wesson® M&P® 2.0 platform. This unit installs at the rear of the slide, replacing the factory backplate for straightforward installation and removal. In the event the reset function does not engage, the pistol will continue to operate in standard semi-automatic mode. Important: This device disables the factory striker safety plunger. Compatibility Works with: Smith & Wesson® M&P® Gen 1 or 1.0 in all calibers and frame sizes Aswell BUT requires you to install a 2.0 rear rail assemble (as easy as removing the old rear rail and install a new 2.0 rear rail and changing the trigger bar to a 2.0) (we do offer what we are calling a gen 1 to 2.0 conversion kit this will be listed on our site here with all parts included to convert your gen 1 to a RESET ready gen2)

this is a stand-alone R.A.D.  installs in 1 minute made from Pla+ 2.0 Tough

INSTALLATION:

step 1

rack your slide back make sure your chamber is clear and lock the slide back

step 2

you will then remove your rear black plate from the slide by pushing down on your firing pin guide rod housing from the under side of the slide  (put in a bag for safe keeping)

step 3

slide the new SW 2.0 R.A.D.  in place of where old back plate was

step 4

release slide lock

 

 

installation is now done! read to function test

 

oil is recommended for all metal to metal contacts

 

DO NOTE GEN 1 REQUIRES OUR GEN1 TO GEN2 CONVERTION KIT TO FUNCTION WITH THIS R.A.D. (GEN2 NEEDS NOTHING EXTRA)
